The Line Follower Robot Competition challenges participants to drive a autonomous robot capable of following a predefined path accurately and efficiently. The robot must detect and track a line laid on the arena using sensors and complete the course in the shortest possible time without human intervention. The competition tests participants’ skills in robotics, sensor integration, control algorithms, and problem-solving, encouraging innovation, precision, and technical excellence.
The bridge-Making competition using chopstick is an exciting and innovative engineering challenge where participants built a bridge using only chopstick and other minimal materials. This event focuses on creativity, team work and problem solving as participants design and construct a functional bridge that can withstand weight while showcasing engineering in Genuity. The competition encourages participants to think out side the box and use chopsticks in a structural context, testing their understanding of balance, materials and design principles.
In this event, mechanical components of a machine (e.g., lathe parts such as headstock,) will be placed at different locations across the college campus. Each team must search, identify, collect, and finally assemble the complete mechanical system in the Mechanical Workshop within the given time.
